Melanie Bricker helps organizations grow by building development capacity, thinking strategically about systems and processes, and focusing on the highest quality execution and achievement.
"As a city person and a naturalist, I'm passionate about improving the well-being of the planet and its inhabitants. In my role as the director of development services at the National Aquarium, I help advance a mission to inspire environmental conservation by leading philanthropy operations (including Salesforce CRM administration, prospect research, and special events), driving moves management activity, directing strategic communications, and implementing best practices in governance and board relations.
In previous roles, I've helped to create a network of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) high schools in Egypt with funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development and coordinated a team effort to fund raise more than $65 million for a major science center. I am passionate about work that addresses social problems."
